Today's first accomplishment was the taking down of the Easter decor. I also got the Little People Noah's Ark and Schoolhouse out of the attic as I moved the spring decorations up there.
We took summer's first trip to Soergel's, where Ruby, Virginia, Daisy and I got ice cream and some delicious fruits and vegetables. The beautiful little pint of fresh-picked Soergel's strawberries was so sweet and juicy.
We four, and the dog, took a walk at North Park, where they have finally finished the lake-dredging project. It's so great to see water in the lake again. When they drained the lake, two years ago, I believe, it seemed that it would take forever, but time has really gone fast. We watched some geese and tried to skip stones.
